Are You Twitterpated?

Anyone who loved the famous movie Bambi, as a child, knows that this is what he got when he fell in love in the springtime… 
However, in today’s Internet world it has taken on a completely new meaning. The social networking site Twitter exploded on the scene not too long ago, with it’s intriguing method of socializing called “Tweets” or “Tweeting” and has only went straight up from there.
We are all scrambling to Twitter & Tweet away and get all we can from this amazing phenomenon. Whether it is for fun or business there is definitely something in it for all involved.
On the business end, it can help you in many aspects. Although there are some factors to consider before you do get much use out of it for helping you with your Internet business.
1. You will need followers – Without followers you will get limited exposure and not get far in gaining anything towards helping your business.
2. You will need to tweet consistently – Tweeting on a regular basis will draw interest in what you are tweeting about. By being consistent with both regular posting and the topic you post about you will attract followers who are interested in the same topic. Note that the recommendation is not to post more than once a day.
3. You will need to become skillful with one line ads – This might not seem like too hard a task, however you will need to say the most that you can in the few characters Twitter gives you to speak.
4. You will need to be courteous and polite. Both in the way you tweet and most assuredly in how often. As stated above, it is recommend no more than once daily as I have removed myself from many people I was following because they just sit and tweet every minute of the day. That is nonsense and definitely, a sure way to lose your hard found followers. That is not to say occasionally it is not improper. Everyone does it once and a while when they have something important to say more than once in a twenty-four hour period.
Also in this area, make sure you are posting useful and interesting information and/or products. Remember you can damage your business reputation very quickly with suggestion of one bad product or misrepresented information.
So while being twitterpated in the 21st century can be quite fun, don’t lose site of the whole concept of socializing. Good socializing skills are required here just as they are when you go out to a party or other social gathering.
Use the above tips to have fun and increase your Internet business reach too.
