An Overview of the Top Ways To Auto-Submit Your URL’s

Auto submitting your site can save you huge amounts of time. Rather then going to 100′s of individual sites to submit your URL’s over and over you can use auto-submission sites to type in your URL and other information one time and then click the submit button which sends this same ad to all the sites with one click.
Most submission services focus on free advertising sites. So usually the only cost is the amount you pay to use the particular submitter you have chosen. Below you will find a list of the most common ways to auto-submit your URL’s along with a brief description and my personal insight and recommendations of each type based on my experience of using them.
Types of auto submissions for generating traffic:
Articles – This is a submission that takes your articles and posts them to 100′s of article directory sites. It can be done either with article submission software or via a article submission service site such as: “Submit Your Article“. Software will give you more control over how the submissions look and if they are put in correctly. But there are plenty of PRO’s on the submission service side as well, especially when it comes to saving time.

Ezines – This type of submitter takes your ezine ad and sends it to the editors of 100′s of ezines and newsletters. These owners have joined in a sort of coop with the submission site for receiving the ads. It is one of the best ways to get highly targeted ezine advertising fast. Examples of this type of site are: HB Ads or Ezine King. Both these recommended sites also provide Ezine solo ads and top sponsor ad slots as well via the same auto-submission methods as your regular ezine classified type ads.
Safelists – This is a submission that saves you from having to log in to multiple safe list sites, one at a time to promote your ad. This too has either a software on your computer option such as SMASS Auto Safelist Submitter Software or a online based member type submitter such as the iPost Safelist Submitter.
The software option is my first choice as it gives you more freedom in controlling the lists you join and testing to make sure your ad actually goes through. With the newer version of SMASS recommended above you will also get features never available before on this type of software, such as an Automatic Safelist Joiner – Automatically join the lists that are Auto-join compatible. This will save you hours or even days from manually subscribing to safelists. All the while still allowing you to add and test your current safelists in the software
The online based submitter will consist of a data base of usually 100′s if not 1000′s of safe lists. Then they give you the needed tools to organize it all from joining the lists to even auto validating your email addresses you chose to use for posting to the lists.
Although iPost is very well organized, works well and has 1000′s of lists to subscribe to, I have to conclude it is more difficult to use and takes more time in staying up to date on the lists joined. I would only recommend it to those that are more advanced in using this type of submitter and what it takes to get the most use out of them such as email download management and figuring out which lists are actually receiving your messages or not.
Classifieds and FFA Submitters – This type of submission service takes your classified type ad and submits it to multiple classified and ffa sites. The best ones will let you choose which type. Either only classified submissions or only FFA and visa versa or both if you choose. One with a large reach of classified sites it submits to is Web Presto. They do all the work for you all you do is submit the classified ad and URL to them. Two other quality services are the Blog blaster site listed below and also Global Net Promoter.
Blog Blasters – This is a submission that sends either your post or comment out automatically to various blogs across the web. This method is a very good way to get exposure because the blogs all have RSS feed tie-ins, so that you not only get seen on the site but also by any one being notified of the feed including major search engines.
This can expose your ad for you to many thousands of eyes. However I would not suggest you try this on your own with any type of software or script that you do not have control over which blogs you send to. I highly recommend it only be done via a controlled site such as “BlogMySite“. The reason for this is that a controlled site will submit only to blogs that allow this kind of submission. Otherwise you could be doing what is known as ad spamming. This is not good and will only produce negative results for you. If you have software that allows you to choose which blogs to submit to and you can verify without a doubt the site allows advertising then this too will be fine. But be sure of which sites you do put into it.
One quality software for this, also, that does allow you to choose the right category of sites and works very well is the Blog Carnival Submitter. This is a little different. You don’t send ads via this software, but instead your own quality blog posts. I use this regularily and get great results from it. Using this is very safe as long as you strictly submit only to the blogs your articles and blog posts pertain to.
Search Engines – This type of service submits your web site URL’s to top quality search engines and directories on line. This is another type of submission that can be done via either a web based service such as SE Blaster listed above or you can purchase software to do the submission with. Web based search engine submissions vary by each service provider on how many URL’s and how often. The recommendation is to use your main URL to your web site or sites and not to submit any given URL more than 1 time monthly. A good service will provide you with this type of needed knowledge, including SEO instructions, to get the best results when submitting to the search engines. One of the longest in business and top one on line is SE Blaster. Then a top choice for purchasing software for this is Web CEO.
